AutoVero

Data methodology

How AutoVero discovers, normalizes, verifies and publishes automotive information.

Source hierarchy

Manufacturer product pages, technical sheets and official press rooms are the first choice. Regulatory and government databases are used for safety, efficiency and recall facts. Licensed datasets and reputable publications may supplement—but not silently override—higher-trust sources.

Normalization and conflict handling

Incoming records map to a normalized brand, model, generation, model year, market, trim and powertrain. Units are stored explicitly. A conflicting value creates a review candidate; the system does not overwrite a verified record merely because a newer page differs.

Indexing threshold

Thin, duplicate, search-result and incomplete generated pages are kept out of search indexes. A vehicle page becomes indexable only after essential identity fields, useful specifications, original explanatory copy and source provenance pass quality checks.
